NUMS-Affiliated Colleges
Compare your aggregate against each college's final Open Merit closing aggregate from the most recent admission cycle.
Closing figures are the lowest admitted aggregate from NUMS's official 6th (final) Selection/Upgradation List, Open Merit seats, MBBS Session 2025-26 — published 27 Jan 2026 on numspak.edu.pk. Closing merit shifts every cycle, so treat these as a reference point, not a guarantee.
Army Medical College and the Fazaia/Foundation/Bahria colleges weren't part of this particular notice, so no verified closing aggregate exists for them yet — shown as Pending rather than guessed.

Paper-Based (OMR)
Paper I — Subject Distribution (150 MCQs)
Note: Both papers are sat on the same day and are mandatory — Paper II is a psychological assessment that needs no academic preparation but still contributes to your final NUMS Test score out of 200. There is no negative marking on either paper. Minimum qualifying marks are 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
How NUMS Merit & Selection Works
NUMS runs one centralized process across all its affiliated colleges and publishes its selection lists on numspak.edu.pk. For MBBS Session 2025-26, its final (6th) Selection/Upgradation List shows the lowest admitted Open Merit aggregate at several colleges, which we show above for reference. NUMS does not publish one consolidated closing-merit table, and merit varies by seat category. Here is how the process works.
One Centralized Application
After results, NUMS opens a single application covering all its constituent and affiliated colleges — Army Medical College and every CMH, Bahria, Fazaia, HITEC, and other affiliated institution. You don't apply to each college separately; you rank your preferred colleges in order of preference on one form.
Multiple Merit Lists, Not Just One
NUMS runs separate merit lists for different seat categories — open merit, reciprocal, self-finance, and armed forces seats — so where you land depends on which category you're competing in, not just your raw aggregate.
Seat Confirmation
If you're selected, you'll need to deposit your fee within the given deadline to confirm your seat. Missing the deadline means the seat is offered to the next candidate on the list.
Note: The closing figures above come from NUMS's official 6th (final) Selection/Upgradation List for Open Merit seats, MBBS Session 2025-26. Colleges not covered by that notice show as Pending, and reciprocal, self-finance and armed forces seats are ranked separately. Any other "NUMS closing merit" number you find online is an unofficial estimate. Closing merit changes every cycle, so use your calculated aggregate as a general guide only.
How the NUMS Aggregate is Calculated (2026)
The NUMS aggregate formula uses the same 10/40/50 weightage structure as national MDCAT, but your entry-test component always comes from your own NUMS score — never your MDCAT result. Matric contributes 10%, FSc contributes 40%, and your NUMS Entry Test carries the largest share at 50%.
The Formula
Aggregate = (Matric % × 0.10) + (FSc % × 0.40) + (NUMS Test % × 0.50)
What Is the NUMS Entry Test?
The NUMS Entry Test is NUMS's own admission test, held separately from PMDC's national MDCAT. It has two mandatory papers sat the same day: Paper I, a 150-MCQ academic test, and Paper II, a 50-MCQ psychological assessment, for a combined score out of 200.
Is NUMS the Same as MDCAT?
No. MDCAT is PMDC's national test for civilian medical colleges. NUMS conducts a completely separate test for Army Medical College, CMH-affiliated colleges, and other NUMS institutions. You must register and sit each one separately — scores from one cannot be used for the other, even though both use the same 10/40/50 split.
Does NUMS Include Matric Marks?
Yes. Some online calculators use a 50% FSc + 50% Entry Test formula with no Matric component — that's incorrect. NUMS's official weightage clearly includes Matric at 10%.
Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying score on the NUMS Entry Test is 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS. There is no negative marking, so it's best to attempt every question.
Does the Formula Change by College?
No — the 10% Matric + 40% FSc + 50% NUMS Test split is university-wide and applies whether you're applying to Army Medical College or any affiliated CMH, Bahria, Fazaia, or HITEC college.
How to Use the NUMS Aggregate Calculator
