How the MDCAT Aggregate Calculator 2026 Works

This MDCAT aggregate calculator uses the official weighted formula for 2026 admissions: Matric (SSC) at 10%, FSc/Intermediate (HSSC) at 40%, and your MDCAT test score at 50%. This weighting has stayed consistent across recent admission cycles under UHS and PM&DC.

    The Formula

    Aggregate = (Matric % × 0.10) + (FSc % × 0.40) + (MDCAT % × 0.50)

    MDCAT 2026 Total Marks

MDCAT 2026 consists of 180 MCQs (paper-based, no negative marking), based on PM&DC's current uniform curriculum — this changed from the older 200-mark format, so double-check you're using the right total if you're comparing against older guides or previous years' formulas.

    Why Every MDCAT Mark Matters

Since MDCAT carries half the aggregate, one MDCAT mark is worth approximately 0.278 aggregate points — roughly 7.6 times the impact of one FSc mark out of 1100. A 15-mark improvement in your MDCAT score alone can shift your final aggregate by more than 4 percentage points, which is why it's worth more of your remaining prep time than chasing marginal FSc gains.

    A-Level & Equivalence Students

If your Matric or FSc marks come from an IBCC equivalence certificate, enter your equivalent percentage marks in the same fields — the formula weighting doesn't change based on your board.

    Provincial Note

UHS handles admissions for Punjab's public sector medical colleges; KPK runs through Khyber Medical University (KMU), and Sindh through DUHS and other Sindh institutions. The 10/40/50 weighting is the same nationally, but closing merit and quota rules vary by province.

    Worked Example

    Matric

    900 / 1100

    FSc

    950 / 1100

    MDCAT

    140 / 180

Matric contributes 8.18, FSc contributes 34.55, and MDCAT contributes 38.89 — giving a final aggregate of 81.62%.

Now suppose the same student scores 155/180 in MDCAT instead of 140. The MDCAT component rises to 43.06, and the aggregate becomes 85.79%.

15 extra MDCAT marks → +4.17 aggregate points

    4 Simple Steps

How to Use the MDCAT Aggregate Calculator

No sign-up, no manual formulas. Enter your Matric, FSc, and MDCAT marks below and this MDCAT aggregate calculator returns your exact 2026 aggregate percentage in seconds, using the same weightage UHS and PM&DC apply for medical college admissions.

    1

    Enter Matric (SSC) Marks

Type your obtained and total Matric / O-Level marks (e.g. 1028 / 1100). This is the 10% component of your MDCAT aggregate.

    2

    Enter FSc / HSSC Marks

Add your FSc Pre-Medical (or A-Level equivalent) marks obtained and total marks (e.g. 980 / 1100) — the 40% component of the 2026 aggregate formula.

    3

    Enter Your MDCAT 2026 Score

    Out of 180

Enter your MDCAT score out of 180 — the highest-weighted part of your aggregate at 50%, so this number moves your result the most.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How is the MDCAT aggregate calculated for 2026?+

By combining Matric (10%), FSc (40%), and your MDCAT score (50%) into one weighted percentage — this calculator does the math for you automatically.

What is the MDCAT total marks for 2026?+

180 marks, based on PM&DC's current uniform curriculum — down from the earlier 200-mark format used in previous years.

How do I calculate the aggregate of Matric and FSc marks?+

Convert each to a percentage (marks obtained ÷ total marks × 100), then multiply Matric's percentage by 0.10 and FSc's by 0.40 before adding your weighted MDCAT contribution.

What is MDCAT's weightage in the overall aggregate?+

MDCAT carries the largest weight at 50% — more than Matric and FSc combined, so your test-day performance matters most.

How much does one MDCAT mark affect my aggregate?+

Since MDCAT 2026 is out of 180 marks and carries 50% weightage, one mark is worth approximately 0.278 aggregate points — roughly 7.6 times the impact of one FSc mark out of 1100.

Is a calculator allowed inside the MDCAT exam hall?+

No — UHS's official exam guide lists calculators alongside mobile phones and smart watches as prohibited items in the exam hall.

Does this formula apply to A-level or equivalence students?+

Yes — use your IBCC-equivalent percentage marks in place of Matric/FSc marks; the weighting stays exactly the same.

Has the MDCAT aggregate formula changed over the years?+

The 10/40/50 weighting has remained stable across recent admission cycles, though total marks and question counts have changed — most recently to 180 marks for 2026.

Do UHS, KMU, and PM&DC use the same aggregate formula?+

Yes — the 10/40/50 weighting is nationally standardized under PM&DC's curriculum, though each admitting body (UHS for Punjab, KMU for KPK, etc.) manages its own merit lists and quotas.
